ONCE UPON A TIME
I started checking off the boxes based on how I thought my life should go. Graduate college with two degrees, get a promotion, buy a home, travel the world, get a raise, another promotion, get married, start trying for a baby.
Check, check, check, and check.
That's the definition of success right? Well after a year and a half of trying, I still wasn't pregnant. Enter the downward spiral of emotions while desperately doing everything I could think of, because I figured if I worked harder, I would achieve the goal of having a baby. I was stressed, depressed, and felt like a total failure as a wife and a woman.
I dug deep and took a year to heal myself physically, emotionally, and mentally. During that time I learned so much about myself, my body, and my fertility. I started tracking my cycle with every device i could find. Listened to so many podcasts, read blog posts, and gathered advice from IG and youtube. I worked with a Functional Doctor, tried every fertility diet under the sun, and ran so many tests. Plus I took several courses, joined group programs, and eventually worked with a coach 1 on 1. I kept thinking I was one step closer to finding the missing piece in my fertility puzzle.
Then in January 2022, I decided to take bits and pieces of everything I learned and come up with my own approach. I knew I wanted to take 3 months as a "primemester" and by April we were pregnant for the first time in 3 years!

Thinking back to that low point in my life, it saddened me to think that so many other women have similar experiences when trying to become a mom. It shouldn't have to be so hard. With the knowledge I'd gained from my personal experience, I realized I could help other women avoid some of the same pain that I went through.
It sealed the deal for me, once I found out that a couple of my close friends had experienced fertility challenges as well. How was this becoming more and more common?? I felt called to be a part of the change, so I pursued a few certifications to expand my knowledge even further, and the rest is history.
NOW FOR THE fun STUFF
I love spicy food. The hotter the better and as a native New Mexican I'm picky about my chile.
I'm an aspiring plant lady and wish I had a green thumb. Even succulents don't stand a chance.
After studying German for 8 years I still don't consider myself fluent. I'd love to learn multiple languages though.
I still love handwritten notes over typing them out. I'm an old soul at heart and I love the feel of pen to paper.
